六代 ⾼⽊岩華（竜太）（たかぎ‧がんか）
TAKAGI GANKA VI RYUTA
In the early Meiji period, Takagi Ganjiro opened a kiln at the foot of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and has been the first Ganka for about 140 years.
In 2016 (Heisei28), the current Takagi Ryuta took over as the 6th Ganka.
1988 Born in Kyoto
2009 Completed the training course at Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Technical School
2010 Completed the main course in ceramics at Kyoto City Industrial Technology Research Institute
Studied under Okinawa Yomitanzan ware master Yamada Shinman
2013 Studied under his father, the 5th Ganka
2016 Succeeded Ganka following the death of the 5th Ganka
Currently Member of the Kyoto Traditional Ceramic Artists Association
