ASAMI BOKUSHOU (ASAMI GOROUSUKE VI)

The first Gorousuke was a samurai runaway from the Takatsuki Domain in Settsu Province. He moved to Kyoto and studied under the second generation Kiyomizu Rokubei, and in 1848 he established himself and opened his kiln on Gojozaka.
Because he was extremely good at copying Shonzui, he set the name Shonzui Gorousuke and called himself Shonzui-Gama.
